Design and execute online advertisements, email campaigns, landing pages and website design concepts and serve multiple internal customers in a fast-paced, online travel publishing environment.Test new concepts and technologies.
Responsibilities:
oDesign award winning web pages using HTML, CSS, and Flash with Action Scripting for cross- platform and cross-browser compatibility.
oWork under deadlines generating innovative design concepts that integrate commercial, competitive and business considerations.
oWork closely with other designers and product managers.
Qualifications include:
1.Solid experience designing for the web
2.HTML hand coding skills and experience
3.Experience designing and coding with CSS
4.Strong skills designing, animating and developing in Flash with ActionScripting.
5.Able to design for cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility
6.Able to focus on aesthetics as much as user-interface, information architecture, and usability
7.Proven experience designing with an understanding of the business and sense of commercial and competitive considerations
8.Able to work under pressure, allocate time efficiently, take direction, and give feedback in a constructive manner
Required Software Experience:
Proficient with: Macromedia’s Flash MX, Macromedia’s Dreamweaver MX, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe InDesign CS2, and Microsoft Power Point
Other skills considered a plus:
1.Experience with designing for and within a database or content management system
2Experience working in an online publishing environment
3. Creative energy to produce consistently superior design ideas
4.Candidates with print design experience is a plus
5.Agency experience is a plus
Education:
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or Website Design is preferred
Minimum 5+ years design experience
