Job Title:
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Treasurer, responsible for cash management activities, oversight of short term investment portfolio, cash and foreign currency forecasting, liquidity and risk management, and special projects.
Responsibilities:
•Establish daily cash position, determine cash needs and execute electronic transfers using Bank software
•Process daily wire transfers to vendors, and upload and release payment files for US, Canada, UK & India
•Communicate with financial institutions relating to cash management process including review and analysis and justification of monthly bank service charges
•Prepare rolling global cash forecasts
•Identify, recommend and implement ongoing improvements to ensure effective and efficient management of cash resources
•Manage investment portfolio in compliance with short term investment policy, prepare portfolio and benchmarking reports for senior management
•Quantify exposure and track derivatives used to hedge foreign currency risk
•Serve as primary treasury liaison to all internal departments, responding to day to day requests for information and assistance.
•Assist with annual insurance review and requests for assistance with insurance matters.
•15 % travel may be required.
Experience Guidelines:
•Two to five years of practical cash management experience
•Familiar with banking practices, cash flow forecasting and insurance products
•Ability to work in team oriented environment
•Experience with banking software such as Bank of America Direct a plus
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred)
Certified Treasury Professional designation desirable
