Sermo is currently seeking a Quantitative Research Associate who will be responsible for the design, execution, and management of quantitative and qualitative research in a consultative manner for investment firms.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data and extract key findings and insights for clients; guide others to do the same.
- Manage relationships with existing clients and pursue additional follow-up engagements.
- Work with clients to understand their business issues.
- Translate client needs into effective research plan.
- Execute research plan as lead researcher.
- Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in science, math, economics, or engineering preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in the fields of healthcare, life sciences, clean technology, consulting, market research, and/or relationship management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Superb client management skills.
- Excellent quantitative / qualitative analysis skills.
- Project management skills.
- Team player with the ability to think and act independently in a fast-paced team-based environment.
- General understanding and awareness of financial markets.
- Knowledge of survey techniques and survey engines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel data manipulation techniques.
