The Product Managerserves as the liaison between Development, Clients, and Consulting, and plays a very proactive and visible role in the success of the organization as a whole. The right candidate will play a strategic leadership role in settingproduct direction, developing new functionality, and will become the recognized product expert in a new product direction.Initially, this new Product Manager will focus on the trade and portfolio compliance functionality in our product line, but there will be opportunities to work in other areas of the Eze product suite. Reporting to the head of product management, the Product Manager is a very high-profile position within Eze as well as the OMS industry. It requires a self-starter with ability to motivate and guide others toward a common goal. Job Functions - Work as a key member of the Product Management team to formulate and articulate product strategy for our trade and portfolio compliance module.
- Take on full responsibility and accountability for product scope definition and management.
- Assume specific product ownership and serve as Eze internal subject matter expert.
- Oversee business requirement research and documentation throughout the product management lifecycle.
- Work closely with Application Developers to resolve any problems and issues that arise. .
- Serve as an internal and external champion for Eze products. .
Qualifications - Key qualification is recent experience in the compliance department of a mutual fund or institutional asset manager.Hands-on experience with a compliance system (Charles River, Latent Zero, Macgregor, etc.) is a plus.
- Expert in regulatory compliance issues, including trade compliance, portfolio compliance, UCITS, Investment Act of 1940, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, etc.
- MBA and/or CFA strongly preferred.Pursuit of other certifications encouraged.
- Leadership potential and demonstrated experience.
- Product or Brand Management experience, training and passion.
- BS/BA from a top school with 6+ years related experience; two years in a product management environment is desirable.
- Ideal candidate will possess knowledge about and capacity to learn financial markets, exchanges, trading practices and software development.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven presentation skills both internally to executive management and externally at the client level required.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment; ability to support extreme workloads to meet deadlines.
