'sPoochies Spa & Boutique/The Pet Shop Girls are seeking dedicated animal lovers to become part of their sales force! 'sPoochies has assembled a variety of services and merchandise to satisfy the needs of the sophisticated urbanus canis. The Pet Shop Girls specialize in healthy and holistic foods, quality toys, unique gifts, and tasty treats.
This is a full-time position starting at $9.50, and we are looking for candidates that we can promote to higher positions. We also offer health insurance after the 90 day probationary period. The ideal candidate will have an open and flexible schedule that includes evenings (on occasion up to 11pm).
Qualified applicants possess the following attributes:
-Excellent customer service skills
-Must excel working in a very fast paced environment
-Must be motivated, organized, and likes to take initiative
-Great professional attitude
-Prior retail experience
-Must be able to handle dogs of all sizes
-Knowledge of animal care and nutrition a plus
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
-Providing excellent customer service to our customers and clients
-Working the front register, booking grooming appointments & answering the phone
-Hands on interactions with small and large dogs (and cats too)
-Restocking, merchandising, & handling shipments (must be able to lift heavy objects)
-Cleaning and organization of retail and stock areas
