RESEARCH ASSOCIATE POSITION DESCRIPTION
Praxis, Inc., an educational software company, seeks to hire a part-time Research Associate (15-30 hours) to field-test software designed to evaluate craniofacial variation, for use in diagnosing abnormalities in genetics and surgery.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Track progress of software development
•Serve as a liaison among laboratories and hospitals in the development and testing of software
•Travel to sites to meet with investigators, demonstrate software prototypes and collect feedback
•Organize feedback for statistical analysis
•Prepare reports and manuscripts
•Learn measurements using straightforward geometric procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree in biological, medical, or behavioral sciences
•Familiarity with PC computers
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
•Must use own car for travel to and from sites, mileage will be reimbursed
