Description:

A Human Resources Manager is needed to assist in the application of the principles, practices, techniques, methods and procedures of human resources administration, benefits administration and payroll systems.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
•Overseeing benefits administration to include enrollments, change reporting, the approval of invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees (including but not limited to, health, dental, disability, 125, 529, 401k and EAP plans).Also, managing workers compensation claims/billing administration.
•Conducting initial new hire orientation, including a review of the agency’s policies, procedures, and employee benefit programs.
•Coordinating human resource issues to ensure they are consistent with agency policies, exercise discretion and judgment in applying and interpreting policies and procedures.
•Managing the tracking and maintenance of employee personnel files including files for review by various auditing and regulatory agencies.
•Maintain human resource information system records from payroll and compile reports from database
•Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Research, resolve and advise staff on concerns as they relate to the employee benefit eligibility policies and procedures.

Requirements:

A Bachelors Degree preferred; high school diploma required.One year experience in the field of human resources with knowledge of benefits and payroll practices is required.
