Aramica is looking for one or two freelance writers in the Boston area to cover events or write articles about issues happening in the Arab American community or about issues of interest to the Arab American community in Boston and its surrounding environs - especially in those areas where Arab Americans reside.
We're looking for people who can retain a professional and objective demeanor, rather than those who will not report the news when it's negative.
Aramica is the leading Arab American newspaper on the East Coast. We are bilingual, non-sectarian, and non-partisan. This means we cover issues pertaining to all members of this diverse community - regardless of religious affiliation, country of origin, or political persuasion.
Our rates are as follows:
$50 for event coverage with images, captions (names of people in images),
and short blurb (250 words)
$75 for articles up to 1,000 words.
$125 for articles up to 1,300 words.
