English teaching program in Wenchang

November 24 - December 21, 2008   The project takes place in Wenchang, located in the Northeast of Hainan Island, about 70 km from the main city Haikou. Wenchang town consist of a closely related community with a rich culture. This is a special teaching project with a duration of one month. Two volunteers will be participating at a time.
The project tasks include developing friendship between the participants and the local students and teachers, teaching English to local students, learning Chinese and local language, participating in some sport games with the students. The students can dance and draw, and you can also learn a lot from them.
The project is an opportunity for the children to meet friends from other parts of the world and expand their horizons. Special requirements: Interest in teaching and cultural work. Age range: 18 and over For more details and available dates, please visit: www.cadip.org/volunteer-in-china.htm
