21 year old fairly new to MA singer/songwriter is seeking to form a Alt-Metal/ Post-Grunge group with the intention of creating progressive heavy music and accomplishing something in the music industry. I have not been in a band before, but that involves kind of a long story which I'd be happy to tell anyone curious. I possess a talented singing voice with screaming abilities. I am a very good song writer, I have serveral pieces written which I am absolutely thrilled with using, and more which would be perfect with slight collaboration. Musical influences include Hurt, 10 years, disturbed, and Breaking Benjamin. My ideal bandmates will be in their early to mid-twenties and have very similar influences, and be open to performing a few covers in a live set in the beginning but mostly originals. While I am always open to musical suggestions, I need to collaborate with guys who will offer ideas within the musical confines of what I'm trying to create (Janis Joplin does not fit in at all with my style).
